Taking a break from the daily hockey training, several members of our senior national hockey team today visited the Spastic Society of Karnataka’s unit in Bangalore. Away from the hectic training and preparatory schedule ahead of the Olympic Qualification tournament in 2012, players along with Chief Coach Michael Nobbs managed some time to meet the kids suffering from Neuro JMuscular and
Developmental Disabilities. Coach and Captain Bharat Chetri along with a dozen of players spend almost 2 hours with these kids in their coaching and art centres.
The Spastics Society of Karnataka is a NonJGovernment Organization(NGO) dedicated to the welfare of persons with NeuroJMuscular and Developmental Disabilities.The society society provides a Comprehensive Package of Diagnostic and Intervention services to persons with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Mental Retardation, Multiple Disabilities and Learning Disabilities.
